We discuss the applicability of the Ritz–Galerkin method to the stationaryFokker–Planck equation governing the multi–state voter model over community–based networks in presence of zealot candidates and show how the symmetries of the system allow to reduce the multi–clique structure of the Fokker–Planck operator in a weak sense.
