H2020 Connecting Europe Facility 2014-2020. CEF TELECOM CALL FOR PROPOSALS 2018, CEF-TC-2018-5
Open LOD platform based on HPC capabilities for Integrated Administration and Control System of Common Agrarian Policy
On 1 June 2018, the European Commission presented legislative proposals on the common agricultural policy (CAP) beyond 2020. These proposals aim to make the CAP more responsive to current and future challenges such as climate change or generational renewal, while continuing to support European farmers for a sustainable and competitive agricultural sector. Likewise, those proposals include higher ambition on environment and climate action, better targeting and a new way of working. This new way also includes the ongoing digitalization of the agricultural sector and this process shows great potential for updating CAP tools to foster data use and reuse and improve their accessibility and usability by farmers, policy makers and third parties as SMEs.
